My presentation


I am Andrés José Blanco Mercado, I am 24 years old, I am from Santa Ana Magadalena, an eighth semester student of Industrial Engineering at the Simón Bolivar University of Barranquilla and I work in the Sandra business group. I have a brother and three sisters, my favorite color is black and my favorite food is pasta. My hobbies are soccer play, listen to music, read and watch tv. I like to dance, go out to eat, and travels.

 


TOPIC: CHANGE IN PLANS

A change of plans is when what was planned must be modified, an event that you had scheduled must be canceled or substituted.

For example:
  • I was thinking of traveling to town on vacation but I got sick.
  • I was going to continue working and living in Bogotá, but I resumed my studies in industrial engineering.
  • I wanted to study medicine, but I had no money.
  • I was thinking of going out with my friends, but it rained
  • I was planning to organize my closet, but I came home tired from work.
  • This year I wanted to save money, but I had a lot of expenses



TOPIC: HOLIDAYS

THE VALLENATO FESTIVAL
Of all the events that there may be in Colombia, the International Festival of the Vallenata Legend or simply Festival Vallenato is the star.

This festival is celebrated between the 27th and 30th of each April in Valledupar, the world capital of Vallenato. In addition to dance, all types of artistic expressions related to vallenato are also rescued during the festival. Peasant poetry, stories, oral tradition, and sociocultural expressions are also part of the celebration. Also, concerts by renowned Vallenato artists are presented.

           

              


TOPIC: OUR PRESIDENT GUSTAVO PETRO

GUSTAVO FRANCISCO PETRO URREGO, is an economist from the Externado University of Colombia. He has a specialization in Public Administration from ESAP.

He was elected Mayor of Bogotá from 2012 to 2015, and in 2018 he was a Presidential candidate for the Significant Citizen Movement - Colombia Humana, with a historic vote of more than 8 million votes.

On June 19, 2022, he was chosen as President of the Republic of Colombia, along with his vice-presidential formula, Francia Márquez Mina.
